AboveBelow (2021)
AboveBelow is an installation inspired by the hidden life of mycelium as described in Merlin Sheldrake’s book ‘Entangled Life’. Mycelium grows beneath the soil, out of sight but impacting everything above it. The cyanotypes are like mycelium - you don’t see the original object or stencil, but you see the impact of UV light through them onto the light sensitive paper
